For series products, the manufacturer BSN-JOBST has a maximum storage time of up to 36 months. Important: This is followed by the wearing time of the compression stocking (tights) of up to 6 months. The shelf life (end) date (month/year) is printed with an hourglass symbol on the package label.

Other manufacturers (e.g. MEDI) may have made a different arrangement here, in which case the wearing time (duration of use) ends with the printed date (month/year). Therefore, at least a period of 6 months must be deducted from the calculation here, i. H. the time of delivery must cover the period of 6 months to the expiration of the date on the hourglass.
