Cizeta Medicali

The Italian manufacturer Cizeta Medicali produces VARISAN® compression stockings according to both the German standard RAL-Gütezeichen and the French standard ASQUAL.

The compression classes in France have different pressure ranges in mmHG (ASQUAL). The yarn thicknesses used may also be lower than the common German standard (RAL).

This allows for compression stockings to be finer and more elegant. The most commonly prescribed compression class there is the French CCL 2 (15-20 mmHG), but this roughly corresponds to the German CCL 1 RAL (18-21 mmHG).

The VARISAN TOP product bears the RAL quality mark and is also listed in the Medical Devices Directory. We offer this product in compression classes CCL 2 and CCL 3. The VARISAN Fashion For Man product, with a cotton content, is new to the CCL 1 and CCL 2 range.

The item VARISAN LUI & LEI and VARISAN PLUMETIS are certified according to the French quality mark ASQUAL. For better comparability, we have translated the compression classes common there into the classification commonly used in Germany (RAL), but we also provide the tested range in mmHG here.
