Compression Levels
For discription, including on the product, we use the usual compression classes CCL from "Germany".

The values in mmHG are given as resting pressure on the leg without muscle movement on the ankle, according to the respective compression class. On the other hand, there is the working pressure, which is only generated by the stretching of the knitted fabric. The more elastic the material, the lower the working pressure.
In the past there was a fixed assignment of the compression class to be prescribed to a diagnosed listed above Disease picture in Germany. This was lifted in 2006. From the medical point of view, the compression class can now be freely decided. Thus, not only for reasons of compliance ("therapy loyalty") the CCL 1 of the CCL 2 preferred. The selection of the material is also to be included in the prescription and, if necessary, to be mentioned on the prescription.
